A&nbsp;viagem de avi\u00e3o desde Dublin ia ser muito cansativa (quase 15 horas de v\u00f4os com conex\u00e3o em Londres) e o <em>jet lag<\/em>&nbsp;tamb\u00e9m ia ser&nbsp;tenso (a diferen\u00e7a de fuso \u00e9 de 8 horas), ent\u00e3o uma semana apenas de viagem n\u00e3o seria t\u00e3o&nbsp;proveitosa. L\u00e1 fomos n\u00f3s curtir 2 semanas na Calif\u00f3rnia e Nevada!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roteiro Resumido<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como ele fez uma viagem de carro pela costa da Calif\u00f3rnia em 2012, montamos um roteiro com outras atra\u00e7\u00f5es\/cidades para n\u00e3o ficar t\u00e3o repetitivo para ele. Come\u00e7amos em <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>S\u00e3o Francisco<\/strong>,<\/span> passamos pelo <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Yosemite Valley <\/strong><\/span>(dentro do Yosemite National Park), <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Death Valley<\/strong><\/span> e terminamos em <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Las Vegas.<\/strong><\/span> Tudo isso de carro com as seguintes paradas para descanso:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/0\/embed?mid=1FpbuiHRNzDWd0E1K_0IbtWMnLT0&#038;ehbc=2E312F\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roteiro Detalhado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tirando as 15 horas de estrada (eu no volante, com ele seria bem menos) e as paradas em cidades n\u00e3o muito interessantes apenas para descanso (Visalia e Lone Pine, por exemplo), n\u00f3s podemos resumir a nossa viagem nesses 4 <em>posts<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/2-dias-em-sao-francisco\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2 dias em S\u00e3o Francisco<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/3-dias-no-yosemite-national-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3 dias no Yosemite Valley<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/1-dia-no-death-valley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>1 dia no Death Valley<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/uma-semana-em-las-vegas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>1 semana em Las Vegas<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aluguel de Carro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alugamos o carro mais barato dispon\u00edvel no <em>site<\/em> da <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rentalcars.com\/Home.do?affiliateCode=mochiloesemochilinhas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RentalCars<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>com a empresa <strong>Alamo&nbsp;<\/strong>e quando fomos retir\u00e1-lo, tivemos um <em>upgrade<\/em> para um carro <em>sedan<\/em> autom\u00e1tico bem confort\u00e1vel no lugar do pequeno manual que alugamos. Segundo o Celo, os americanos n\u00e3o gostam de carro manual, ent\u00e3o tor\u00e7a para voc\u00ea tamb\u00e9m ganhar um autom\u00e1tico sem precisar pagar por isso. \u00c9 realmente muito mais confort\u00e1vel para dirigir&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pegamos o carro em S\u00e3o Francisco e dirigimos<em> all the way to<\/em> Las Vegas, como o mapa acima mostrou. Pegamos o seguro total (sempre!) e escolhemos a <strong>Alamo<\/strong> justamente porque eles n\u00e3o cobraram aquela taxa de&nbsp;entrega em outro local &#8211; aten\u00e7\u00e3o nisso, o valor \u00e9 uma facada (algo em torno de 100 doletas). Para quem gosta de n\u00fameros como n\u00f3s, <strong>nossos 6 dias com&nbsp; o carro sa\u00edram 230 d\u00f3lares, j\u00e1 com seguro.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Combust\u00edvel + ped\u00e1gio + estacionamento<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma boa not\u00edcia para n\u00f3s e para voc\u00ea que est\u00e1 interessado em seguir o nosso roteiro: <strong>n\u00e3o gastamos um tost\u00e3o com ped\u00e1gios.<\/strong>&nbsp;Nadinha. Tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o tivemos despesas com estacionamento,&nbsp;inclusive em Las Vegas, e no <em>post<\/em> da cidade (<a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/2017\/02\/16\/uma-semana-em-las-vegas\/\">1 semana em Las Vegas<\/a>) contei o bizu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Para as quase 1000 milhas &#8211; ou 1600 km<\/strong> &#8211; que dirigimos (rodamos muito pelo Yosemite e Death Valleys e essas rodadas n\u00e3o est\u00e3o contabilizadas no mapa acima), <strong>n\u00f3s gastamos 70 d\u00f3lares de gasolina comum.<\/strong> Os postos de Nevada realmente t\u00eam pre\u00e7os melhores que os da Calif\u00f3rnia, mas \u00e9 s\u00f3 voc\u00ea n\u00e3o encher nos postos colados nas entradas dos Valleys para pegar pre\u00e7os razo\u00e1veis tamb\u00e9m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hospedagens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Achei as hospedagens muito mais caras se comparadas \u00e0s que costumamos pegar na Europa, mas n\u00e3o vi muito como escapar. As di\u00e1rias s\u00e3o caras para o que oferecem, mas o que mais me incomodou na verdade foram as taxas extras que s\u00e3o bem pesadas (mais de 10%, por exemplo) que pagamos normalmente na hora do <em>checkout. <\/em>(O Booking avisa antes, mas eu nem prestei muita aten\u00e7\u00e3o, confesso).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos os nossos hotei\/moteis foram bons, mas deixaram a desejar em algum quesito. Pode deixar que vou falar os detalhes de cada um deles nos <em>posts<\/em> respectivos, mas por enquanto aqui vai a lista dos lugares onde&nbsp;ficamos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/us\/stratford.html?aid=829418&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hotel Stratford<\/a><\/strong> em S\u00e3o Francisco (localiza\u00e7\u00e3o excelente, quarto bem normalzinho com carpete e caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3 continental, ou seja, fraco)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/us\/yosemite-view-lodge.html?aid=829418&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yosemite View Lodge<\/a><\/strong> pert\u00edssimo da entrada do Yosemite Valley (localiza\u00e7\u00e3o excelente, quarto super aconchegante com cozinha completa, sem caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/us\/motel-6-visalia.html?aid=829418&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Motel 6<\/a><\/strong> em Visalia (como todo Motel 6 nos EUA, quartos b\u00e1sicos sem caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/us\/dow-villa-motel.html?aid=829418&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dow Villa Motel<\/a><\/strong> em Lone Pine (localiza\u00e7\u00e3o excelente perto da entrada do Death Valley, quarto muito aconchegante, sem caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/us\/vdara-spa.html?aid=829418&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vdara<\/strong> <\/a>em Las Vegas (localiza\u00e7\u00e3o boa, quarto grande e confort\u00e1vel com cozinha pouco funcional, sem caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Se for reservar hoteis, fa\u00e7a sua reserva no Booking usando o<\/span>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/?aid=829418\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nosso link<\/a> <span style=\"color: #993300;\">para nos ajudar com a comiss\u00e3o. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 custo extra para voc\u00ea!<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refei\u00e7\u00f5es<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Assim como os hoteis e lojas, os restaurantes tamb\u00e9m cobram taxas extras e dependendo do Estado, elas s\u00e3o mais de 10% (Nevada \u00e9 8.15%). Em cima do total da conta com essa taxa extra, \u00e9 esperado que voc\u00ea pague uma gorjeta de no m\u00ednimo 15% (h\u00e1&nbsp;resrautantes que sugerem 22%), ou seja, qualquer sentadinha&nbsp;para comer \u00e9 uma facada (tirando as redes de <em>fast food<\/em>, claro). Que saudade da Europa nessas horas, onde voc\u00ea senta em qualquer lugar e o pre\u00e7o do card\u00e1pio \u00e9 o pre\u00e7o que voc\u00ea paga no final e em alguns lugares nenhuma gorjeta \u00e9 esperada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tomamos um choque com a nossa primeira conta de restaurante em S\u00e3o Francisco e decidimos pegar leve nas refei\u00e7\u00f5es, fazendo apenas uma principal e lanchando nas outras. Compramos muita coisa em supermercados (Walmart e Walgreens, principalmente) e aproveitamos a infra dos quartos&nbsp;para guardar as coisas na geladeira e fazer comidinhas r\u00e1pidas no fog\u00e3o. Passamos tamb\u00e9m em v\u00e1rios <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.in-n-out.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In-n-Out<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>(rede de <em>fast food<\/em> com ingredientes fresquinhos) e achei os burgers bem melhores que os do McDonald&#8217;s ou Burger King. Recomendo! Vou falar sobre os restaurantes onde fomos nos <em>posts<\/em> detalhados, mas j\u00e1 adianto que nenhum mudou minha vida e que o atendimento deixou MUITO a desejar. Acho que estamos ficando mal acostumados com a Irlanda. &lt;3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chip de celular (GPS)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Compramos em S\u00e3o Francisco um chip da empresa <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com\/prepaid-international-tourist-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">T-Mobile<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>pr\u00f3prio para turistas nos EUA.&nbsp;Eles anunciam o <em>chip<\/em> nas propagandas por 30 d\u00f3lares, mas acabou saindo por 36 com as taxas extras safadas. N\u00f3s usamos nas cidades e nas principais estradas, mas n\u00e3o conseguimos usar em estradas menores ou em lugares mais remotos, como o Yosemite Valley e o Death Valley. Pela quantidade de gente que vimos mexendo nos celulares nesses locais, acredito que outras operadoras&nbsp;funcionem melhor, mas n\u00e3o sei se t\u00eam planos mais baratos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Atra\u00e7\u00f5es Visitadas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Os detalhes da viagem estar\u00e3o nos <em>posts<\/em> dos lugares que visitamos, mas n\u00e3o posso deixar de j\u00e1 falar um pouco sobre os lugares por onde passamos. Aqui vai a lista&nbsp;bem resumida:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>S\u00e3o Francisco<\/strong> &#8211; Lombard Street (uma rua sinuosa fofa), P\u00eder 39, Fisherman&#8217;s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Union Square, Ferry Building, Golden Gate, Salsalito e o Alamo Square Park (onde est\u00e3o as casinhas fofas, The Painted Ladies).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Yosemite&nbsp;Valley<\/strong> &#8211; fizemos 4 trilhas para ver as cachoeiras, lagos e sequoias gigantes dentro do parque. Dirigimos bastante e paramos em v\u00e1rios mirantes com vistas espetaculares tamb\u00e9m. Que lugar incr\u00edvel! Definitivamente a melhor parte da viagem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Death Valley<\/strong> &#8211; dirigimos por horas dentro desse parque nacional \u00e1rido e lind\u00edssimo, parando apenas para fazer&nbsp;a trilha da Red Cathedral e ver o Badwater Basin. Pegamos uma estrada com visual incr\u00edvel tamb\u00e9m, a Artist&#8217;s Drive. \u00c9 bastante ch\u00e3o&#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Las Vegas<\/strong> &#8211; entramos em praticamente todos os hoteis famosos e passeamos pelos seus shoppings, cassinos e claro que jogamos, n\u00e9&#8230;e o melhor: sa\u00edmos com lucro dos jogos! Al\u00e9m dos hoteis, fomos tamb\u00e9m em um <em>outlet <\/em>interessante, o&nbsp;Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, e tamb\u00e9m em um <em>stand<\/em> de tiro (!) chamadao Battlefield Vegas. Comemos na churrascaria brasileira Fogo de Ch\u00e3o (que saudade de picanhaaa!), em um restaurante com <em>buffet<\/em> liberado no Caesars Palace, no Carmine&#8217;s, na pizzaria Settebello, no The Cheesecake Factory e tamb\u00e9m no Burgr, do <em>chef<\/em> famoso Gordon Ramsay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nossa viagem em fotos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure
