Os pr\u00e9dios s\u00e3o antigos tamb\u00e9m e foram constru\u00eddos a partir do s\u00e9culo XVIII, mas a parte antiga ainda tem pr\u00e9dios da \u00e9poca medieval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure albergue, o <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/gb\/high-street-hostel.en.html?aid=829418\">High Street Hostel<\/a><\/strong> (40 libras para n\u00f3s 2 em um quarto com 4 camas e lado&nbsp;da<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royal-mile.com\/\">Royal Mile<\/a><\/strong>, que \u00e9 a avenida principal da cidade, com muitas lojas, restaurantes e claro, <em>pubs<\/em>. \u00c9&nbsp;nesta rua que voc\u00ea vai encontrar todos os <em>souvenirs<\/em> que puder imaginar, sendo que o objeto mais famoso \u00e9 o <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kilt\">kilt<\/a>,<\/strong> <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em>a saia quadriculada escocesa utilizada pelos homens. No caminho para l\u00e1, entramos&nbsp;na&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stgilescathedral.org.uk\/\">St Giles&#8217; Cathedral<\/a>,&nbsp;&nbsp;constru\u00edda em 1883, que \u00e9 bem bonita por fora, mas mais bonita ainda por dentro. N\u00f3s cogitamos comprar os &nbsp;ingressos <em>online <\/em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(RECOMENDAMOS!)<\/span>,<\/strong> mas como est\u00e1vamos sem impressora, achamos melhor comprar l\u00e1 na hora: maior besteira <em>ever<\/em>! Pegamos uma fila enorme desnecess\u00e1ria, que certamente afetou o&nbsp;nosso bom humor de sempre. Como nem tudo tem s\u00f3 um lado ruim ou s\u00f3 um lado bom,&nbsp;estava fazendo sol (peguei uma corzinha at\u00e9!) e a mo\u00e7a da bilheteria nos avisou que em menos de cinco minutos sairia um <em>tour<\/em> guiado gratuito. com um senhor que parecia ser um professor de hist\u00f3ria, super did\u00e1tico e com uma mem\u00f3ria absurda. Fiquei impressionada com a quantidade de datas, nomes e lugares &nbsp;mencionados em menos de 1 hora de <em>tour<\/em>. Foi muita informa\u00e7\u00e3o mesmo!&nbsp;Aqui vai um resumo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>O castelo foi constru\u00eddo no s\u00e9culo XII em cima de uma rocha vulc\u00e2nica que o deixa a 120 metros de altura em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao n\u00edvel do mar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A&nbsp;min\u00fascula&nbsp;<strong>St Margaret\u2019s Chapel,<\/strong> constru\u00edda em 1130 para ser uma capela apenas da fam\u00edlia real, \u00e9 atualmente a constru\u00e7\u00e3o mais antiga da cidade e felizmente, pode ser visitada e utilizada por pessoas comuns, como eu e voc\u00ea. No dia da nossa visita, inclusive, estava havendo um mini casamento ali, com cerca de 20 pessoas apenas. Muito chique!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00e3o deixe de visitar o&nbsp;<strong>Great Hall,<\/strong> constru\u00eddo por Jaime IV da Esc\u00f3cia&nbsp;no in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo XVI. N\u00f3s conseguimos assistir a uma encena\u00e7\u00e3o da batalha de <em>Waterloo&nbsp;<\/em>ali dentro, mas foi bem dif\u00edcil entender o que aqueles dois atores escoceses falaram&#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00c9 poss\u00edvel ver de bem perto o canh\u00e3o <strong>Mons Meg<\/strong>, que \u00e9 um dos mais antigos do mundo, com mais de 550 anos. Ele foi constru\u00eddo para o casamento de&nbsp;Mary Stuart, Rainha da Esc\u00f3cia, e o Rei Henrique II, da Fran\u00e7a.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O <strong>Royal Palace<\/strong> \u00e9 onde est\u00e3o os aposentos reais utilizados pelos \u00faltimos monarcas da fam\u00edlia <em>Stuart, <\/em>sendo o principal deles o quarto onde<em>&nbsp;<\/em>a Queen Mary deu \u00e0 luz o Rei Jaime VI, em 1566 (<strong>Birth Chamber<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O que mais chamou a nossa aten\u00e7\u00e3o foi a &nbsp;<strong>Sala da Coroa,&nbsp;<\/strong>onde est\u00e3o as j\u00f3ias reais escocesas,&nbsp;(a&nbsp;<strong>Coroa<\/strong>, a <strong>Espada<\/strong> e o <strong>Ceptro<\/strong>). A coroa foi feita em 1540 em ouro, p\u00e9rolas, diamantes e outras pedras e \u00e9 lind\u00edssima! As 3 pe\u00e7as foram levadas ao castelo no ano de 1707, que foi o ano em que o Reino da Gr\u00e3-Bretanha foi criado. Desde 1996, esta sala tamb\u00e9m exibe a <strong>Pedra do Destino,<\/strong> que \u00e9 uma pedra na qual&nbsp;todos os Reis da Esc\u00f3cia sentaram durante as cerim\u00f4nias de coroa\u00e7\u00e3o. Esta pedra foi levada para a Inglaterra, mas gra\u00e7as \u00e0 um ato generoso da Rainha Elizabeth II, ela foi devolvida \u00e0 Esc\u00f3cia na condi\u00e7\u00e3o de ser levada novamente para a Inglaterra nas futuras coroa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00f3s visitamos tamb\u00e9m v\u00e1rios museus e memoriais de guerras, todos bem completos, e aproveitamos para curtir o visual de l\u00e1 de cima.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/dsc04114-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/dsc04114-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25310\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Descemos do castelo e caminhamos por tr\u00e1s dele para ver a sua vista mais interessante, segundo o cara do nosso albergue. N\u00e3o achei nada demais, mas como o trajeto \u00e9 relativamente curto, foi bom para ver a rocha vulc\u00e2nica onde o castelo foi erguido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/dsc04176-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mochiloesemochilinhas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/dsc04176-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25318\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Passamos no <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Attraction_Review-g186525-d187695-Reviews-Princes_Street_Gardens-Edinburgh_Scotland.html\">Princes Street Gardens<\/a>,&nbsp;<\/strong>que \u00e9 um parque bem central e organizado e depois passeamos pela principal rua de compras da cidade, a <strong>Princess Street<\/strong>. Seguimos para o restaurante do Jamie Oliver,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamieoliver.com\/italian\/restaurants\/edinburgh\"><strong> Jamie&#8217;s Italian<\/strong>,<\/a>&nbsp;que fica na<em> George Street.<\/em> O restaurante fica um pouco escondido, dentro de um pr\u00e9dio, mas tem um ambiente bem transado. Achamos a comida boa, mas confesso que esper\u00e1vamos bem mais (maldita expectativa alta). Achei a conta cara (30 libras para duas massas + duas cervejas), mas depois de passear bastante pela cidade, vi que n\u00e3o d\u00e1 para encontrar uma refei\u00e7\u00e3o decente por menos que isso. Esta libra n\u00e3o \u00e9 mole&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um pub secreto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Com as pan\u00e7as devidamente cheias, fomos conhecer o <em>pub<\/em> secreto da cidade, o <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/pandaandsons.com\/\">Panda and Sons<\/a>, <\/strong>que fica no canto esquerdo da Queen Street. Achamos a arquitetura linda, tanto da parte nova como da parte velha. O cara do nosso albergue disse que demorava 40 minutos para subir, mas acho que levamos o dobro disso, porque acabamos fazendo o maior percurso, que envolvia muitas subidas e descidas (passamos pelo <em>Salisbury Crags &#8211;&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ie\/maps\/place\/Holyrood+Park\/@55.9456194,-3.1608239,15z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x4887b87bb120ccb9:0xe723d1fdc5c0163\">d\u00e1 olhada no Google Maps<\/a>). Depois que reparamos&nbsp;que existe um trajeto que \u00e9 bem mais r\u00e1pido e que muitas crian\u00e7as inclusive fizeram.&nbsp;Acho que d\u00e1 para parar o carro ou ir andando direto para o lago <em>Dunsapie Loch<\/em> e de l\u00e1 subir para o pico. Fica a dica! feira medieval ao lado do <strong>Holyrood Palace<\/strong>, com v\u00e1rios <em>stands<\/em> de comidas e tradi\u00e7\u00f5es tipicas e todos os expositores vestidos \u00e0 car\u00e1ter. Achei o m\u00e1ximo e deu para perceber que os moradores estavam curtindo tamb\u00e9m. visitou o t\u00famulo do seu dono durante 14 anos at\u00e9 o dia em que ele mesmo morreu. Ele e o seu dono est\u00e3o enterrados no cemit\u00e9rio ao lado do restaurante e h\u00e1 uma est\u00e1tua do bichinho logo em frente ao estabelecimento. <span style=\"line-height: 28.799999237061px;\">Achamos a comida boa, mas cara para o que \u00e9, e por ser um lugar tur\u00edstico, o atendimento foi horr\u00edvel. O lugar&nbsp;\u00e9 enorme e possui 4 museus: O <strong>National Museum of Scotland<\/strong>, <strong>National War Museum<\/strong>, <strong>National Museum of Rural Life<\/strong> e o <strong>National Museum of Flight.&nbsp;<\/strong>Como t\u00ednhamos menos de 1 hora para passear, escolhemos visitar o da Esc\u00f3cia apenas. O museu \u00e9 bem rico em objetos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es, fora que a estrutura do pr\u00e9dio \u00e9 linda. N\u00f3s n\u00e3o conseguimos explorar com cuidado, pois n\u00e3o pegamos o audioguia e s\u00f3 t\u00ednhamos o panfleto que falava das principais atra\u00e7\u00f5es, mas imagino que seja um lugar bem albergue e fomos andando para a esta\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00f4nibus para pegar o nosso bus\u00e3o at\u00e9 Glasgow. Chegando l\u00e1, pegamos novamente o \u00f4nibus 500 e rapidinho est\u00e1vamos no aeroporto. Lanchamos umas coisinhas gostosas no restaurante <strong>EAT&nbsp;<\/strong>e quando est\u00e1vamos indo para o nosso port\u00e3o de embarque, eu reparei que algumas pessoas estavam tirando foto com um rapaz com o olho roxo. Comentei com o Celo, mas ele me ignorou no in\u00edcio e continuou a usar a <em>internet <\/em>do aeroporto. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O mico da viagem&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Depois de um tempo, cruzamos com este rapaz de olho roxo&nbsp;e o Celo chegou \u00e0 conclus\u00e3o que era o lutador irland\u00eas <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Conor_McGregor\">Conor McGregor<\/a>, <\/strong>que atualmente \u00e9 o l\u00edder de uma das categorias do UFC. Rapidamente, saquei a c\u00e2mera e pedi para ele tirar uma foto com o Celo, que ficou verde de vergonha. Gente, n\u00e3o \u00e9 todo dia que vemos um campe\u00e3o, n\u00e9&#8230;seja do que for! Ficamos super animados com o acontecimento, mas ao mesmo tempo nos questionamos sobre <strong>o motivo do campe\u00e3o estar viajando de RyanAir com a gente, sem nenhum <em>glamour<\/em>.<\/strong> Foi preciso entrar no avi\u00e3o para ouvir a comiss\u00e1ria parabenizar o lutador <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Paddy_Holohan\">Paddy Holohan<\/a>, <\/strong>tamb\u00e9m irland\u00eas, por ter vencido a luta em Glasgow.
