We rented a car in Florence on 26/09/2015 (Saturday) and returned it to the same location on 30/09/2015 (Wednesday), spending 4 full days exploring the villages in the region.
Our accommodation
For this period, we chose to stay in a very rural and typical house, in the middle of the most famous villages of Tuscany. We stayed in a place called Bertini Falls, located in Montaione, and we simply LOVED it! We paid only 59 euros per night for a nice apartment, with decor that was a bit tacky for my taste, but it was totally worth it. I can easily see huge families enjoying that space. Cities we know
On the map below, you can see our base in blue and the towns we visited in red. Some people might prefer to stay further down, perhaps near Siena, but since we couldn't find anything as nice for the same price, we stayed in Bertini Falls same.

September 26, 2015 (Saturday)
We left Florence, spent the afternoon in Lucca and we did check-in at Colle Bertini. See more information in this post.

September 30, 2015 – leaving Tuscany
We left the Bertini Falls and we headed back to Florence to return the car. From there, we headed to La Spezia, our base in Cinque Terre, which is in the Liguria region. If you want more details about Cinque Terre, see this post. 🙂
