We spent 4 days in Prague with our Czech friends, seeing the sights and also seeing what the locals found. I told you all about it!
We spent 14 days in Italy and one of the regions we explored was the beautiful Tuscany. We rented a car and got to know what it had to offer.
We spent a week with our Czech friends exploring their country and came away enchanted by its beauty, cuisine and hospitality.
We went to Búzios and Arraial do Cabo just before Christmas 2015 and enjoyed beautiful days on the various beaches and great restaurants.
The end of our trip to Italy was in the famous city of Pisa, with its leaning tower and beautiful cathedral. We ended with a flourish!
We set aside 2 days to visit Cinque Terre, a popular region in Italy, but because of the rain, we only saw everything in 1 day. I recommend it!
We visited the towns of Cortona and Montepulciano in one day, and we loved everything. The house from the movie Under the Tuscan Sun is beautiful!
We spent a delightful day in the towns of Monteriggioni and Siena, and were enchanted by the Siena Cathedral and its wonderfully decorated floor.
We spent a delightful day visiting San Gimignano, famous for its towers, and Volterra, which has incredible views all around.
Saturday (09/26/2015) We left Florence in the middle of the day with our rental car and decided to spend the afternoon in Lucca, the city where our great-grandmother lived.
