I just thought it would be interesting to share here on the blog a place we discovered some time ago and that we always go back to with the kids whenever we can. Since I know that many families follow us here, I think it could be a nice surprise for many.

This well-designed space in Sintra seems to please everyone with accommodation, coworking, restaurants, a playground and fitness facilities. We always go there for lunch with the kids because they have a great playground right in front of the restaurant tables, so we can eat in peace while they play and everyone enjoys the sun.

I think it really is a place that all families with small children should know because unfortunately here in Portugal it is rare to see a restaurant – or many, in this case – with a recreation area for children.

We've tried the burgers, the Japanese food and the pasta and we liked them all! We still need to try the pizzas and the Thai food, but from the looks of it, they seem good too. For more information about the place, be sure to visit official website of Aldeia da Praia.

What to do in the Sintra region
